After acquisition, Berman Kappler made significant capital improvements and implemented an aggressive leasing program to achieve 100% occupancy within six months of ownership. Customer traffic increased and anchor tenants reported double-digit increases in sales. Net operating income was further increased by converting and leasing 11,000 square feet of previously unfinished and unoccupied storage space into leased in-line retail space.
